NORA stands for "Northwest Ottawa Recreation Authority."

It represents the northwest corner of Ottawa County, more specifically, Grand Haven Area Public Schools (GHAPS) district boundaries.  NORA is the product of Articles of Incorporation between the City of Grand Haven, Grand Haven Charter Township, Robinson Township, the City of Ferrysburg and GHAPS.

This agreement is a cooperative effort to provide quality recreation and leisure activities for the residents of our community.  NORA is administered by GHAPS and so is part of GHAPS.
